Application Notes
The original antibody format (Mouse IgG1) was generated and evaluated. Its specificity was determined by FELISA. It exhibited a binding pattern of OAc- > MCPS, with 50% binding observed at approximately 0.004 µg/mL and 0.03 µg/mL, respectively, under the assay conditions. This indicates a preference for the de-O-acetylated serogroup C capsular polysaccharide. The original antibody's pI was measured to be in the range of 6.8-7.2 (Garcia-Ojeda et al., 2000; PMID: 10603394).
