Application Notes
Multiple different formats of this antibody were used for surface plasmon resonance on alpha-Kdo-(2->8)-alpha-Kdo-(2->4)-alpha-Kdo, it showed an affinity between 4.5 * 10^4 M^-1 * s^-1 and 5.9 * 10^4 M^-1 * s^-1 (Mueller-Loennies et al., 2000; PMID:10642603). This antibody was used for an ELISA on KDO3-GIcNAc-BSA to characterize this antibody. This antibody was used for a western blot on chlamydia LPS, it showed it was able to bind to r595-207 LPS (Fu et al., 1992; PMID:1372290, Haji-Ghassemi et al., 2018; PMID:30571096, Brade et al., 1997; PMID:9376684). The structure of this antibody was determined using x-ray crystallography (Haji-Ghassemi et al., 2018; PMID:30571096).
