Application Notes
The structure of the Fab fragment of this antibody was determined using x-ray crystallography (Robles et al., 2012; PMID:23240001). This antibody was used for an competitive ELISA on porphyrin, it showed that it bound most strongly to (Ortho-COOMePh)4-porphyrin (De Lauzon et al., 1998; PMID:9799110, Quilez et al., 1996; PMID:8849692). This antibody was used for an peroxidase activity experiment, this antibody showed the ability to catalyse the oxidation of 2,2'-azinobis (3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid) (ABTS) by H202 (Quilez et al., 1996; PMID:8849692).
