Short Description

This chimeric mouse antibody was made using the variable domain sequences of the original Human IgG4 format, for improved compatibility with existing reagents, assays and techniques.

Application Notes

This antibody was used for an ELISA on recombinant human factor VIII, in a further ELISA is was shown that this antibody could inhibit factor VIII binding to vWF, it had a IC50 of 0.25 ug/mL. It was shown that this antibody could inhibit the function of factor VIII up to 85% (Jacquemin et al., 2000; PMID:10607698, Coxon et al., 2021; PMID:33973229).
