Human methionine sulfoxide reductase B3 (hMsrB3) is an endoplasmic reticulum (ER) reductase that catalyzes the stereospecific reduction of methionine-R-sulfoxide to methionine in proteins. MSRB3-catalyzed reduction of methionine sulfoxides to methionine is essential for hearing.
