Description

Description: MaxLight™650 is a new Far-IR stable dye conjugate comparable to Alexa Fluor™647, DyLight™649, Cy5™ and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (655nm); Emission (676nm); Extinction Coefficient 250,000. Slo1 (Calcium-activated potassium channel subunit alpha-1) may not only be activated by membrane depolarization but may also be by an increase in cytosolic Ca2+. The concentration of cytosolic Mg2+ also activates this potassium channel. Found to play a part in the repolarization of the membrane potential due to the fact that it diminishes the excitatory voltage in the cell.
