Jurkat (Positive) and A431 (Negative control) cells (black) were incubated in 5% BSA blocking buffer for 30 min at room temperature. Cells were then stained with CD3 epsilon Polyclonal Antibody (bs-0765R) at 1:50 dilution in blocking buffer and incubated for 30 min at room temperature, washed twice with 2% BSA in PBS, followed by secondary antibody(blue) incubation for 40 min at room temperature. Acquisitions of 20,000 events were performed. Cells stained with primary antibody (green), and isotype control (orange).

Formalin-fixed and paraffin embedded mouse lymphoma tissue labeled Anti-CD3 Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-0765R) 1:200, followed by conjugation to the secondary antibody Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG, FITC conjugated(bs-0295G-FITC)used at 1:200 dilution for 40 minutes at 37°C.

Description: The protein encoded by this gene is the CD3-epsilon polypeptide, which together with CD3-gamma, -delta and -zeta, and the T-cell receptor alpha/beta and gamma/delta heterodimers, forms the T-cell receptor-CD3 complex. This complex plays an important role in coupling antigen recognition to several intracellular signal-transduction pathways. The genes encoding the epsilon, gamma and delta polypeptides are located in the same cluster on chromosome 11. The epsilon polypeptide plays an essential role in T-cell development. Defects in this gene cause immunodeficiency. This gene has also been linked to a susceptibility to type I diabetes in women. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008].
