Description: MaxLight™550 is a new Yellow-Green photostable dye conjugate comparable to Alexa Fluor™546, 555, DyLight™549 , Cy3™, TRITC and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (550nm); Emission (575nm); Extinction Coefficient 150,000. Human CD11c, otherwise known as integrin alpha X chain and leukocyte adhesion receptor p150, is a ~150kD type I transmembrane protein and member of the integrin alpha chain family expressed by monocytes and macrophages, granulocytes and NK cells. CD11c is a marker fo hairy cell leukemia cells. CD11c combines with CD18 beta chain (ITGB2) to form the leukocyte specific integrin CR4, and acts as a mediator of leukocyte adherence to the endothelium. CD11c also binds to the ligands CD54 (ICAM1), iC3b ,and fibrinogen.
Recognizes human CD11c. Does not recognize CD11a, CD11b or CD18.
