Description

Description: MaxLight™490 is a new Blue-Green photostable dye conjugate comparable to DyLight™488, Alexa Fluor™488 and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (491nm); Emission (515nm); Extinction Coefficient 73,000. CD29 is also known as beta1 integrin or VLA-4 subunit alpha. CD29 is a ~130kD under reducing, ~115kD under non-reducing conditions single pass type I transmembrane glycoprotein. CD29 acts as the common beta subunit of the heterodimeric very late antigens 1-6, complexing with CD49a-f respectively where it forms part of the receptors for laminin, collagen and fibronectin. the VLA heterodimers mediate cell-cell and cell-matrix interactions.

Specificity

3H1190 recognizes the human beta1 integrin. This antibody has been shown to bind to a ligand induced binding site antibody, binding being increased in the presence of fibronectin ligand. This antibody also enhances alpha 5-beta 1-fibronectin interactions. Species Crossreactivity: No crossreactivity with mouse or rat.
