Description

Description: CD34 is a single chain transmembrane glycoprotein with a MW of 105-120kD. It is expressed in early lymphohemopoietic stem and progenitor cells, vascular endothelial cells, embryonic fibroblasts, and some cells in nerve tissue. CD34 is useful in the identification and enrichment of hematopoietic precursor cells, and the characterization of leukemias.

Does not react with null, B- or T-lymphoid, erythroid or later myeloid cell lines. See protocol for a list of reactivities that are reported to be negative.
