Description: MaxLight™490 is a new Blue-Green photostable dye conjugate comparable to DyLight™488, Alexa Fluor™488 and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (491nm); Emission (515nm); Extinction Coefficient 73,000. The CD41 cell surface antigen is a 140kD glycoprotein expressed by platelets and megakaryocytes. CD41 is also known as platelet glycoprotein IIb, and functions as a receptor for fibrinogen, fibronectin and vWF.

Recognizes human CD41. Not established if this antibody recognizes free human CD41 or human CD41 only when complexed with CD61. Antibody binding is reduced in the presence of EDTA suggesting that the epitope recognized is dependent upon an intact CD41/61 complex. Species Crossreactivity: baboon, mink and mustelid.
