Description
Description: CD57 represents a 100kD oligosaccharide antigenic determinant present on a variety of polypeptides, lipids and chondroitan sulfate proteoglycans. It is expressed on 7-35% of normal peripheral blood lymphocytes, including subsets of NK cells and CD8+ T lymphocytes. The function of CD57 is unknown. PE/CY5 combination conjugate is used as a third fluorochrome in multicolor flow cytometry applications when only a single 488nm excitation source is available. Antibodies are covalently coupled using heterobifunctional linking reagents, resulting in an optimal conjugation format for flow cytometry.
