Description: Human Transferrin Receptor which is expressed on proliferating lymphoblasts, majority human tumor cell lines, normal peripheral blood monocytes. Cell surface expression of transferrin receptors is correlated with relative cell growth rate of malignant and non-malignant cells. Transferrin receptors are virtually absent from resting PBLs.
