Absorbance (655nm); Emission (676nm); Extinction Coefficient 250,000. CD71 is a type II transmembrane protein of 170-180kD. Also known as transferrin receptor, CD71 exists as a homodimer on the cell surface and is essential for growth. CD71 is expressed by immature proliferating cells and at low levels on resting mature lymphocytes.
