Description

Description: MaxLight™490 is a new Blue-Green photostable dye conjugate comparable to DyLight™488, Alexa Fluor™488 and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (491nm); Emission (515nm); Extinction Coefficient 73,000. CD200 is expressed by a subset of B lymphocytes, some endothelial cells and by neurons. Recent studies have suggested that the CD200-CD200 ligand system is of importance in the control of macrophage and granulocyte activation.

Specificity

Recognizes the rat OX2 (CD200) receptor 1. This antigen is a heavily glycosylated 60100kD cell surface molecule expressed by cells of the myeloid lineage but not by T or B lymphocytes. This antibody has been shown to block the interaction of OX2 receptor 1 with CD200.
