Description: MaxLight™490 is a new Blue-Green photostable dye conjugate comparable to DyLight™488, Alexa Fluor™488 and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (491nm); Emission (515nm); Extinction Coefficient 73,000. Lutheran glycoprotein is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily and has recently been designated CD239 (B-CAM) at the 7th leucocyte typing workshop. CD239 is expressed by erythrocytes in the peripheral blood.

Specificity
Recognizes a non-polymorphic determinant on both the 85 and 78kD Lutheran (Lu) glycoproteins. BRIC 221 specifically recognizes an epitope in the fourth extracellular domain of Lu glycoprotein. Lutheran glycoprotein is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily and has recently been designated CD239 (B-CAM) at the 7th leucocyte typing workshop. CD239 is expressed by erythrocytes in the peripheral blood.
