Short Description
Chelerythrine (Toddaline, Broussonpapyrine) is a potent, selective antagonist of PKC with an IC50 of 0.66 µM. Chelerythrine also inhibits the BclXL-Bak BH3 peptide binding with an IC50 of 1.5 µM. Chelerythrine shows antitumor, antidiabetic and anti-inflammatory activity.
