Description: DiI-Labeled Fluorescent Control Liposomes for Clophosome® (Neutral) The fluorescent control liposomes contain the lipophilic dye Dil incorporated in the bilayers. It has comparable physical and chemical attributes as for the Clophosome® except no active is encapsulated inside. It is used for tracking the cellular uptake of the liposomes by common methods like confocal, FACS, etc. Specifications Lipid composition: phosphatidylcholine and cholesterol Dye: 0.15 mM (0.14mg/mL) (note: the amount of dye has increased from 0.07mg/mL to 0.14mg/mL) Stability: 6 months for unopened vials 'DiI'; DiIC18(3) (Thermofisher D282) is a lipophilic membrane dye. It is weakly fluorescent until incorporated into liposome membranes.
