Description: Interacts with the cytoplasmic tail of NMDA receptor subunits and shaker-type potassium channels. Required for synaptic plasticity associated with NMDA receptor signaling. Overexpression or depletion of DLG4 changes the ratio of excitatory to inhibitory synapses in hippocampal neurons. May reduce the amplitude of ACCN3 acid-evoked currents by retaining the channel intracellularly. May regulate the intracellular trafficking of ADR1B.

PSD95 antibody recognizes postsynaptic density protein 95, an ~80 kDa multidomain scaffold protein enriched at neuron postsynaptic excitatory membranes. It belongs to the membrane-associated guanylate kinase (MAGUK) family, which also contains PSD-93, SAP97 and SAP102. PSD95 is one of the most abundant proteins in the PSD, and functions in synapse maturation, strength, and plasticity.
Store as concentrated solution. Centrifuge briefly prior to opening vial. For short-term storage (1-2 weeks), store at 4C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20C or below. Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
