Specificity
The human sequence is 100% conserved in mouse, rat, human HO-2. Greatly conserved in HO-1. High sequence sonservation is observed in Euryoxic fish, puffer fish. Cyanobacteria and plant read Alga Heme oxygenases. So this antibody is likely to crossreact with HO-2 and HO-1 from many species. This antibody should be use useful in detecting the HO when no specificity is required.
