Description

Description: MaxLight™650 is a new Far-IR stable dye conjugate comparable to Alexa Fluor™647, DyLight™649, Cy5™ and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (655nm); Emission (676nm); Extinction Coefficient 250,000. Heparan Sulfate is a glycosaminoglycan, as is heparin. These proteoglycans bind proteins, including P-Selectin, and participate in the internalization of lipoproteins. It is thought that the protein- proteoglycan binding affinity comes from ionic interactions and the entropy generated by the release of cations upon protein binding.
