Description: Comparing with HLA-DR and HLA-DP, the distribution of HLA-DQ antigen is much limited. The appearance of HLA-DQ antigen is later than the appearance of HLA-DR and -DP antigens. HLA-DQ antigen is expressed on B lymphocytes in peripheral blood, weakly on some monocytes and activated T cells, but not on hematopoietic progenitors, resting T lymphocytes, erythrocytes and platelets.
