Description: Interleukin 3 receptor alpha (IL3RA), also known as CD123 (Cluster of Differentiation 123), is a type I transmembrane protein that is expressed on the large majority of progenitor cells. IL-3R alpha function can be defined by the activity of its ligand interleukin-3. IL-3 is a multipotent cytokine that promotes the development of hemopoietic progenitors into cells of the erythroid, myeloid and lymphoid lineages.1 CD123 may be a promising strategy for the preferential ablation of acute myelogenous leukemia (AML) cells.2

The lyophilized antibody can be stored desiccated at -20°C to -70°C for up to twelve months. The reconstituted antibody can be stored for at least four weeks at 2-8°C. For long-term storage of the reconstituted antibody, aseptically aliquot into working volumes and store at -20°C to -70°C in a manual defrost freezer. Avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. No detectable loss of activity was observed after six months.
