Description

Description: MaxLight™ 490 is a new Blue-Green photostable dye conjugate comparable to DyLight™488, Alexa Fluor™488 and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (491nm); Emission (515nm); Extinction Coefficient 73,000. IL-13 is an immunoregulatory cytokine produced mainly by T helper 2 cells, but also by mast cells and NK cells. IL-13 is a unique cytokine having structural features and functional characteristics with IL-4. However, it only shares about 30% homology with the IL-4 sequence. IL-13 inhibits IL-1 beta, IL-6, IL-8, and TNF-alpha resulting in anti-inflammatory effects on monocytes and macrophages. It also induces B cells to proliferate and isotype-switch to the production of IgE. In addition, IL-13 modulates TH2 cell development interfering key roles in the ostracizing of gastrointestinal parasites and in the evolvement of asthma and allergy.
