Description: Antibody clone HL1038 has been validated to identify SARS-CoV-2 viral spike protein subtype S2 in paraffin-embedded human tissue specimen by immunhistochemistry (IHC). HL1038 has been demonstrated to be highly specific exclusivly against S2 subtype, thus allowing differentiation of SARS-CoV-2 viral spike protein subtypes in infected patient-derived tissue, further supported by dianova-portfolio of subtype specific IHC antibodies.
