Description: This tag-targeted toxin recognizes V5 epitope-tagged cells to evaluate the expression of your target of interest. Anti-V5-ZAP is a chemical conjugate of a mouse monoclonal antibody to the V5 tag fusion protein and the ribosome-inactivating protein, saporin. A synthetic peptide representing amino acid residues 95-108 (GKPIPNPLLGLDST) of RNA polymerase alpha subunit of simian virus 5 conjugated to KLH was used as the immunogen to produce the antibody. The antibody was isolated by affinity chromatography using the peptide immobilized on solid support.
