Application Notes

Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, Immunohistochemistry (formalin-fixed, paraffin). Western Blot: 1:500. Detected phosphorylated CREB in RIPA lysates from mouse 3T3 cells treated with 50 mM forskolin. PC-12 and forskolin treated PC-12 cell lysates were resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to nitrocellulose and probed with anti-phospho-CREB (1:1000). Proteins were visualized using a goat anti-rabbit secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and a chemiluminescence detection system. Gel Shift: This antibody has been shown to gel shift. Immunoprecipitation: 20 ul immunoprecipitates phosphorylated CREB from 500 ug of rat PC-12 cells treated with 50 uM forskolin. Immunohistochemistry: 1:500 dilution detects phosphorylated CREB in formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded normal and ischemic rat brain sections.
