Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation. Western Blot: A 1:500-1:2000 dilution of this lot detected Akt3/PKBg in HEK293 cell lysates. Immunoprecipitation: 5 ul immunoprecipitated active Akt3/PKBg from 15 nM IGF-I stimulated HEK293 cell lysates. The kinase activity of immunoprecipitated Akt3/PKBg was determined using Akt/SGK Specific Substrate Peptide Active kinase was detected by comparing the incorporation of [32P] into Akt/SGK Substrate Peptide as catalyzed by immunoprecipitates from IGF-I stimulated (15nM) HEK293 cell lysates (1mg).
