Application Notes
Suitable for use in Neutralization, Western Blot and ELISA. Neutralization: ND50 is ~0.025-0.075 ug/ml in the presence of 1 ng/ml of rhFGF6 and 1 ug/ml of heparin, using the FGF6 responsive NR6R-3T3 fibroblasts as target cells. The Neutralization Dose50 (ND50) for this antibody is defined as that concentration of antibody required to yield one-half maximal inhibition of the cytokine activity on a responsive cell line, when that cytokine is present at a concentration just high enough to elicit a maximum response. Western Blot: 0.1-0.2 ug/ml with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect human FGF6. The detection limit for rhFGF6 is approximately 2 ng/lane under non-reducing and reducing conditions. ELISA: 0.5-1 ug/ml with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect human FGF6. The detection limit for rhFGF6 is ~0.16 ng/well.
