Description: The recombinant 2B4 comprises 211 amino acids and predicts a molecular mass of 23.8 kDa. As a result of glycosylation, the rh 2B4 protein migrates as an approximately 45-50 kDa band in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions. A DNA sequence encoding the extracellular domain (Met 1-Arg 221) of human 2B4 (NP_057466.1) was expressed, with a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.
