Description: The recombinant human KIT(aa 540-972) /GST chimera consists of 670 amino acids and predictes a molecular mass of 76.8 kDa. It migrates as an approximately 68 KDa band in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions. A DNA sequence encoding the human KIT isoform 2 (P10721-2) cytoplasmic domain (Thr 540-Val 972) was fused with the N-terminal polyhistidine-tagged GST tag at the N-terminus.
