The apparent molecular mass of the protein is approximately 13 kDa in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions. A DNA sequence encoding the mature form of human TXN2 (Q99757) (Thr 60-Gly 166) was expressed, with a polyhistide tag at the N-terminus.
