Description: The recombinant human TXNRD1 consisting of 498 amino acids and has a calculated molecular mass of 55 kDa. It migrates as an 60 kDa band in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions as predicted. A DNA sequence encoding the human TXNRD1 isoform 1 (Q16881-1) (Tyr 161-Cys 647) was expressed, with a polyhistide tag at the N-terminus.
