Description: The recombinant mouse ALCAM consists of 511 amino acids and has a predicted molecular mass of 57.7 kDa. Due to glycosylation, rmALCAM migrates as an approximately 70-80 kDa band in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions. A DNA sequence encoding the extracellular domain (Met 1-Lys 527) of mouse ALCAM (NP_033785.1) precursor was expressed, fused with a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.
