Description: The recombinant rat IL4R is a disulfide-linked homodimer. The reduced monomer comprises 218 amino acids and predicts a molecular mass of 25.3 kDa. The apparent molecular mass of the recombinant protein is approximately 46 kDa in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions due to glycosylation. A DNA sequence encoding the rat IL4R (Q63257-1) (Met1-Arg232) was expressed, fused with a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.
