Description: The recombinant rat LGALS8/GST chimera consists of 548 amino acids and has a predicted molecular mass of 63.2 kDa. It migrates as a 55KDa band in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions. A DNA sequence encoding rat LGALS8 (NP_446314.2) (Met 1-Trp 316) was fused with the GST tag at the N-terminus.
