Description: The secreted recombinant human CD16a consists of 203 amino acids and has a predicted molecular mass of 23.3 kDa. In SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, the apparent molecular mass of rh CD16a is approximately 45-50 kDa due to glycosylation. A DNA sequence encoding the extracellular domain (Met 1-Gln 208) of human CD16a (P08637-1) precursor was expressed with a C-terminal polyhistidine tag.
