Description: The secreted recombinant mouse BSG/Fc is a disulfide-linked homodimer The reduced monomer comprises 436 amino acids and has a predicted molecular mass of 48.6 kDa. As a result of glycosylation, it migrates as an approximately 60-70 kDa band in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions. A DNA sequence encoding the extracellular domain of mouse BSG isoform 2 (NP_001070652.1) (Met 1-Arg 209) was fused with the C-terminal polyhistidine-tagged Fc region of human IgG1 at the C-terminus.
