Description: The secreted recombinant rat ACVRL1/Fc is a disulfide-linked homodimer after removal of the signal peptide. The reduced monomer comprises 343 amino acids with a predicted molecular mass of 38.7 kDa. As a result of glycosylation, it migrates as an approximately 50-55 kDa band in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions. A synthetic DNA sequence encoding the rat ACVRL1 (NP_071886.1) extracellular domain (Met 1-Ala 118) was fused with the C-terminal polyhistidine-tagged Fc region of human IgG1 at the C-terminus.
