Description: MaxLight™490 is a new Blue-Green photostable dye conjugate comparable to DyLight™488, Alexa Fluor™488 and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (491nm); Emission (515nm); Extinction Coefficient 73,000. Mucins are a family of high molecular weight, heavily glycosylated proteins (glycoconjugates) produced by many epithelial tissues in vertebrates. Mucin 1 is a breast cancer associated mucin encoded by the Muc-1 gene. It is expressed on most secretory epithelium, including mammary gland and some hematopoietic cells. This protein is overexpressed abundantly in >90% breast carcinomas and metastases.
