Description

Description: MaxLight™490 is a new Blue-Green photostable dye conjugate comparable to DyLight™488, Alexa Fluor™488 and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (491nm); Emission (515nm); Extinction Coefficient 73,000. Proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA), formerly known as cyclin, is a 36kD intranuclear acidic protein closely associated with proliferating cells. PCNA was originally identified in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus. It represents a component of DNA polymerase-b. The presence of PCNA is closely associated with the cell cycle. PCNA is expressed in high concentration in the late G1-phase before the DNA synthesis, and it reaches a maximum concentration in the S-phase. The level of PCNA declines during the G2 and M phases.
