Description

Description: The protein contains the p29 (GRA7) immunodominant regions, amino acids 24-100. The protein is purified by proprietary chromatographic technique. Background: Toxoplasma gondii is an obligate intracellular protozoan parasite that infects all warmblooded animals, including humans, and causes toxoplasmosis. GRA7 is a recently discovered 29-kDa protein. Like GRA1, it is secreted from the dense granules, and it reacts with sera from humans with acute and chronic infections.
