Description: Tumor necrosis factor-related apoptosis-inducing ligand Receptor 2 (TRAIL-R2) is a cell-surface receptor involved in tumor necrosis factor-related apoptosis-inducing ligand (TRAIL)-induced cell-death signaling.1 The death ligand TRAIL bears high potential as a new anticancer agent, as binding to the death receptors TRAIL-R1 or TRAIL-R2 triggers apoptosis in most cancer cells.2 TRAIL-R2 has been shown to be associated with a decrease in the survival rates of breast cancer patients.3

The lyophilized antibody can be stored desiccated at -20°C to -70°C for up to twelve months. The reconstituted antibody can be stored for at least four weeks at 2-8°C. For long-term storage of the reconstituted antibody, aseptically aliquot into working volumes and store at -20°C to -70°C in a manual defrost freezer. Avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. No detectable loss of activity was observed after six months.
