SuperKine™ Maximum Sensitivity Cell Counting Kit-8 (CCK-8) allows very convenient assays by utilizing highly water-soluble tetrazolium salt-WST-8. WST-8 is reduced by dehydrogenases in cells to give an orange colored product (Formazan), which is soluble in the tissue culture medium. The amount of the formazan in cells is directly proportional to the number of living cells. The reagent has the characteristics of high sensitivity, good stability and convenient operation.

Fig.1 Comparison between SuperKine™ Maximum Sensitivity Cell Counting Kit-8 (CCK-8) (Cat # : BMU106-EN) and three international brands A, B and C in the detection of HEK293 cells with different number of living cells was performed. The results showed that the SuperKine™ Maximum Sensitivity Cell Counting Kit-8 (CCK-8) had the best sensitivity.
Stability data display

The results showed that the SuperKine™ Hypersensitive Cell Proliferation Assay kit (CCK-8) was more stable.

This product is a modified protein loading buffer with bromophenol blue dye and 5 times concentration. Sds-page protein loading buffer (5×) uses a more stable, more effective and odor-free reducing agent instead of conventional DTT or 2-ME for the loading of conventional reducing SDS-PAGE protein samples.
