Direct Immunofluorescence

IgA Direct Immunofluorescence Antibody on a Frozen Kidney

Fibrinogen Direct Immunofluorescence Antibody on a Frozen Kidney

IgG Direct Immunofluorescence Antibody on a Frozen Kidney

Direct immunofluorescence uses a single, primary antibody, chemically linked to a fluorophore or fluorochrome. The primary antibody recognizes the target molecule (antigen) and binds to a specific region called the epitope. The attached fluorophore can be detected via fluorescent microscopy, which, depending on the fluorophore used, will emit a specific wavelength of light once excited. Direct immunofluorescence, although somewhat less common, has notable advantages over the indirect procedure. The direct detection of the antigen by a primary antibody directly labeled with a fluorochrome reduces the number of steps in the procedure, saving time and reducing non-specific background signal.

  • High Affinity Purified Antibodies Conjugated to FITC
  • Highly Sensitive and Specific
  • Low Background

A selection of InDirect Immunofluorescence antibodies and detection systems.
Bio SB has developed a highly sensitive Immunofluorescence and non-biotin monovalent Fab micropolymer IHC detection systems for the detection of IVD antibodies for Complement (C1q, C3c, C3d, C4c, C4d), Serum Proteins (Albumin and Fibrinogen) and Immunoglobulins (IgA, IgD, IgE, IgG, IgM, Kappa and Lambda) related to autoimmune conditions. Our innovative IF and IHC detection systems and high affinity antibodies, have opened the doors for a faster and accurate Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry applicable to Autoimmune Disease like Nephropathies and Lupus.

These antibodies and detection systems are intended for use in Immunohistochemical (IHC) and Immunofluorescence (IF) applications of formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissues (FFPE), frozen tissue sections and cell preparations.
