Hot Start PCR technique reduces non-specific amplifications and offers a convenient reaction set-up at room temperature. The enzymatic activity of hot start polymerase is blocked by an aptamer or antibody at ambient temperature and switched on automatically during the increased temperature of the initial annealing step. The polymerase is recommended for routine PCR applications, high throughput PCR or genotyping and provides an improved specificity and sensitivity when amplifying low-copy-number targets or working with complex backgrounds.

High Fidelity Polymerase is based on a blend of Taq DNA polymerase and a proofreading enzyme specially designed for highly accurate and efficient amplification. It shows excellent results with extremely long (up to 30 kb), GC-rich or other difficult templates.
Pfu-X Polymerase is the ideal choice for applications where efficient amplification of DNA with highest fidelity is required. The enzyme is an engineered Pfu DNA polymerase showing a higher accuracy and increased processivity, resulting in shorter elongation times.

Jena Bioscience is a primary manufacturer of premium quality dNTPs. Our dNTPs are synthesized using enzymatic technologies followed by chromatographic purification cascades. dNTPs are manufactured in a single step from their corresponding Ribo-NTPs. The process ensures a purity greater 99 % (confirmed by RP-HPLC). Each lot is tested functionally by a set of PCR, RT-PCR and Klenow reactions. All dNTPs are screened for remains of bacterial/human DNA, DNases, RNases, nicking enzymes or proteases.

Lyophilisates – Preloaded and Stable at Room Temperature
Ready-to-Use Lyophilisates are delivered in PCR reaction tube strips or 96-well plates preloaded with a complete master mix in a dry, room temperature stable format. Facilitate handling with ready-to-use lyophilisates: no need for freezing, thawing or pipetting on ice and the few remaining pipetting steps minimize the risk of errors or contaminations.
Direct PCR Lyophilisates are designed for amplification of target DNA directly from whole blood, animal and plant tissues. No pre-treatment or prior purification of DNA is required. The Multiplex PCR Master Lyophilisate is especially designed for parallel amplification of a variety of fragments in a single PCR assay. The mix is recommended for use in routine PCR reactions and suitable for multiple target gene amplification in a single tube.
Ready-to-Use Lyophilisates containing custom primers are custom made master mix lyophilisates comprising primers, polymerase, dNTPs and reaction buffer. Provide us with primer sequence and we deliver preloaded PCR tubes and plates ready-made for your special application.
