All blocking buffers contain proprietary additives that stabilize the antigenic and functional regions of the coated protein by maintaining the water of hydration during the drying and storage process. These buffers also contain inert additives that block any “sticky” nonspecific binding regions of the adsorbed protein, and any uncoated regions of the polystyrene plate surface. This reduces nonspecific binding of the conjugate and random deposits of sample proteins, thus reducing background noise and increasing the specific signal.
Buffers also include an antimicrobial agent to prevent bacterial growth during the blocking process (which allows blocking to be done at room temperature) and to extend the useful shelf-life of the plates.

These unique stabilizing buffers designed to prolong the shelf-life of HRP-conjugated proteins and enhance their utility in ELISA applications. These conjugate stabilizer diluents can be used to reconstitute lyophilized conjugates, and to dilute concentrated conjugates into the useful range of the assay.
The proprietary formulations preserve the integrity of the protein conjugate component (for example, the IgG-HRP complex) while also maintaining the enzymatic functionality of the HRP enzyme.

These expression vectors offer rapid and highly efficient subcloning of an arbitrary gene – initially cloned into a Donor Vector – to simultaneously fuse it with many different genetic surroundings via transfer into Acceptor Vectors to generate Destination Vectors. The latter enable the efficient expression of your protein with various features (e.g. different tags and different promoters) in different hosts.

The Strep-tag® purification system is based on the highly selective binding of engineered streptavidin, called Strep-Tactin, to Strep-tag II fusion proteins. This technology allows one-step purification of almost any recombinant protein under physiological conditions, thus preserving its bioactivity. The Strep-tag system can be used to purify Strep-tag II proteins from any expression system including baculovirus, mammalian cells, yeast, and bacteria. For vectors for bacterial expression.

Five Strep-Tactin resin versions are available which differ in their properties and applications. While Strep-Tactin Sepharose® is preferentially used for gravity flow chromatography, Strep-Tactin® Superflow®, Strep-Tactin® Superflow® high capacity and Strep-Tactin MacroPrep® can also be used for low pressure or FPLC applications, and Strep-Tactin POROS® (20 and 50) for FPLC and HPLC chromatography. Each matrix exhibits different non-specific binding properties.
In cases where unsatisfactory results are obtained with one matrix due to unspecific background, it is advisable to switch to one of the other matrices. In addition, Superflow is especially suited for increased flow rates and is also useful for the purification of large protein complexes. Please note, that the Strep-Tactin resins are optimized for column affinity chromatography as opposed to batch purification

Selector resins are based on high-affinity single-domain antibodies (sdAb) which are covalently immobilized on 4% cross-linked agarose beads. The oriented and selective attachment via a flexible linker guarantees a high accessibility of the sdAbs and largely eliminates batch-to-batch variations.
