Lyophilisates – Preloaded and Stable at Room Temperature
Ready-to-Use Lyophilisates are delivered in PCR reaction tube strips or 96-well plates preloaded with a complete master mix in a dry, room temperature stable format. The lyophilisates combine highest performance with convenience of use and stability. There is no need for freezing, thawing or pipetting on ice. The few remaining pipetting steps minimize the risk of errors or contaminations. Each vial contains enzyme, dNTPs and reaction buffer required for a 20 μl PCR assay. Simply fill up the vials with a premix of RNA template and primers and run the reverse transcripton in a thermocycler as usual.
Ready-to-Use Lyophilisates containing custom primers are custom made master mix lyophilisates comprising primers, enzyme, dNTPs and reaction buffer. Provide us with primer sequence and we deliver preloaded PCR tubes and plates ready-made for your special application. The only thing you still have to do is adding template RNA, filling up with water and starting the cycler!

Reverse Transcriptase is a genetically engineered version of M-MLV Reverse Transcriptase (M-MLV RT) with eliminated RNase H activity and increased thermal stability. The enzyme is a RNA-directed DNA polymerase that synthesizes a complementary DNA strand initiating from a primer using single-stranded RNA or DNA as template. Its enhanced thermal stability in combination with the deactivated RNase H activity results in increased specificity, higher cDNA yield and improved efficiency for full length cDNA synthesis compared with standard M-MLV RT. The enzyme is recommended for synthesis of cDNA from 100 bp up to 10 kb length.

Dual Labeled Fluorescent Probes are DNA oligonucleotides of 20-30 bp carrying a fluorophore (5′-end) and a quencher (3′-end). The labeled probe hybridizes sequence-specifically to its complementary section of the amplicon. During DNA extension of each PCR cycle, the fluorophore reporter is being cleaved and released. The resulting, detectable fluorescence signal is proportional to the amount of accumulated PCR product. All labeled probes are purified by HPLC and quality checked by MALDI-TOF.
