Often research requires reagents not commercially available. You are able to source human alpha-1-antitrypsin, but you need alpha-1-antitrypsin from the monkey, Macaca fascicularis. You are able to source normal plasma immunoglobulins, but you need them from plasma positive for West Nile virus. You’ve read a protocol yielding 25 ug of a protein, but your project requires 5 mg… and you don’t have the extra personnel or equipment to do the purification.

Unless noted otherwise, Athens Research & Technology does not measure the endotoxin level of its finished products. If you intend to use our products in cell culture applications, please tell us your endotoxin requirements and we will polish the products for your use. We are able to prepare low endotoxin level proteins and lipoproteins, and are happy to prepare quotes for these tissue culture grade products.
